Nick Hale

Nick Hale serves as Vice President of Strategic Operations at Palmera Pickleball. He brings a background rooted in sport, logistics, and long-term planning, along with a deep familiarity with life and work in Central America.

Originally from Idaho, Nick spent the early part of his career as a professional snowboarder before transitioning into international travel and eventually settling in Nicaragua, where he has lived for more than 15 years. During that time, he has built strong local relationships and developed a practical understanding of operating and building projects in the region.

Nick discovered pickleball several years ago and quickly became involved as both a player and organizer. At Palmera, he focuses on operations, planning, and execution, helping ensure that ideas turn into well-run, functional realities. As a close friend of the Bourgeois family, Nick plays a key role in the day-to-day work of building Palmera with consistency and care.
